Aragon is a region of ancestral wine-producing traditions which possesses excellent climatic conditions and grounds which allow producing wines which can compete with the productions of the other big Spanish regions. Carinena, Calatayud, Somontano and Campo de Borja are 4 AO of the region who divide up 35700 hectares of vineyard. The dominant vines are Garnacha, Tempranillo and the Cabernet Sauvignon.
